MARTIN GABRIEL has existed since 2019.
Before that, I originally came from the world of marketing. But to be honest, most of the time I don't spend selling things — I spend it thinking.
Many people believe that interior design is only about furniture or beautiful objects. But the longer I concern myself with spaces, materials, and atmosphere, the more I realize that good design is actually something entirely different.
It's about feeling.
About tranquility.
About tension.
About light.
About proportions.
And about those rare moments when everything suddenly seems self-evident.
Some decisions are made quickly. Most are not.
My biggest problem — or perhaps my greatest strength — has always been to be uncompromising. Not because luxury for luxury's sake is important, but because I never liked mediocrity. And I mean that completely without judgment.
It's about aesthetics, materials, proportions, quality, atmosphere, and solutions.
That has always defined me.
Aesthetic thinking is a path. And this path is as hard as it is beautiful, because you never really arrive.
And even when you think you've arrived, a certain emptiness often quickly returns, because you realize that the goal itself was never the most important thing.
But the journey there.
The searching.
The questioning.
Those silent moments at night when something feels completely right — and the next morning you wake up and realize it was perhaps only perfect for that one moment.
That's exactly what makes us human.
Perhaps that is precisely why spaces are never static. Why a room changes with light. With emotions. With seasons. With memories.
Colors change with light.
Materials change with emotions.
A room that feels right today can suddenly feel wrong tomorrow.
And that's precisely why aesthetics are never superficial.
In the end, this inner unrest exists for only one reason: so that the client doesn't have to bear it.
So that someone else can simply feel peace and security in a room, without being able to explain exactly why.
Because the best rooms are usually those that are not loud. They don't want to prove anything. They just work.
Quiet. Almost self-evident.
And yet, behind this tranquility often lies a long journey full of doubts, thoughts, and decisions.
It is a never-ending story.
And yet there are these rare moments when everything suddenly seems harmonious. And when that happens, you feel it immediately. Deep inside.
And frankly, that's exactly what we work for.
For that one brief moment.
A silent moment.
Sometimes even a lonely moment.
Because no one feels it exactly the same way you do.
Or perhaps they do.
And that precise moment is never guaranteed.
