the colour is a beautiful purple on natural linen. This back is made in finest linen and around the cushion is a piping is made of velvet. The feel is pleasantly soft and smooth. The filling is made of synthetic fibre wadding or Fluffy Fiber balls I use different mixtures of fillings for different types of fabric. The problem with feathers is that they like to find their way out with the sharp tips, so I find alternatives to minimise the problem. The weight is pleasantly heavy and it is also very comfortable when lying on it. My pillows are for use not just for admiration or decoration.
